QUOTEOFTHEDAY. [carrieunderwood] then the gun rang one last shot and it felt like a bullet in her heart.
Hello. Ick, this font is ugly. Let me change that.
Oh, perfect. Helvetica is my favorite.
As you might have noticed, at my written commentary about fonts, I am quite new to the Blogger world. But this, alas, does not mean I am new to blogs. I have had my fair share of squees about Tumblrs and CoS (for all you obsessive Harry Potter fans out there), and I did bounce around with some of those website makers. But they're a hassle.
I'm sorry, is this going to save every 2 seconds? Because that will get annoying.
Right. It's not about how I feel. Well, actually it is. So you can put that in your juicebox and...
IMAGINE HOW I WOULD FINISH THAT SENTENCE.
There are many words to describe me. Singer. Writer. Joke enthusiast. Obsessive. Excitable. Weird. Awkward. CANT SPELL TO SAVE HER LIFE. All of them are true. All of them have been used at some point or another. Sometimes for my benefit sometimes... not.
But that's okay. Haters gon' hate.
I'm lazy as well. No, I lied. I'm really lazy. And as a result of my laziness, I will now copy and paste the remainder my intro post from elsewhere.
"Hello to... whoever may be reading this. My name is Carly. Carlizzle, if you feel so inclined. I'm not really that picky with the whole nickname thing, but please. Don't be offensive. What if I came into your house and licked all of your dishes and then put them back without so much as a hello? Yeah. That's how much offensive nicknames hurt.
Wow... the first paragraph and I've already managed to get completely off track. Well, that's me for you. A little bit about me... I'm mainly singer, and I write all of my own songs. My YouTube channel can be found here. You may click that if you'd like. I also dabble in poetry, and I really really REALLY like writing. I participated in NaNoWriMo (also clickable) this past year for the first time. Probably the most fun/stressful month of my life. I only got to 30,000 words, but I think that's pretty good seeing as I was a NaNo newbie, and I'm only 13. THe good thing is that I stopped at a good place to end my bok, so next year I'm planning to use the rest of my notes to write the sequel to my novel. But first I need to edit my first novel... I realized it's WAY too violent. I'm not sure what was going through my twisted young mind when I wrote some fo those chapters.
So yes, I like to write. I've recently been obsessed with this website some of you might have heard of... MNI? Mugglenet Interactive? It's my life. I've met some of my bestest friends on there. So I thought that because of my obsession with Harry Potter, paired with my distaste for books that don't end the way I want, fanfic might be a good thing for me to start writing. Should be fun.
Random note... I JUST realized that Dog Days Are Over is the best song ever. *thwacks self* Now, Carly! There has to be a more writer-ly way to say that!
"With a bitterly distasteful expression burned deep within her tired young eyes, Carly stretched out her right hand in front of her and proceded to fall back into the black leather upholstery of her futon. This sudden movement was brought on by an involuntary violent beating of her own flesh."
Much better.
Well, physical violence aside, I hope you enjoy al of the writing I plan to do here, and if you are ever interested in hearing any of my other thoughts and musings, you can always find me on my blog.
With much platonic love, Carly."
That was from facfiction.net, just because I think it's my best intro thread. I've never posted any fanfic. But then again, I'm still recovering from my NaNoWriMo hangover.
Like said in the post, you can find me on those pages, which will be posted at the bottom along with others. For now, I think I shall go. DFTBA. kthxbye.
